This material is an alloy of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. We plate our pieces in yellow gold and rose gold or leave it as pure sterling silver for its natural colour.

Even though our jewellery can be in contact with water, we recommend to not place it next to heaters, windows, air conditioners, or in the bathroom as well as avoiding wearing it in swimming pools to keep the pieces intact.

It is recommended to remove your jewellery when exercising, or any other demanding physical work, as sweating causes the jewellery to tarnish over a long time of wear and tear.

We recommend applying scents or cosmetics before you put on your jewellery. Perfumes and lotions might tarnish the jewellery over time.

Storing your La Maya jewellery in our original pouches is the best way to keep your jewellery safe and intact. If you no longer have the packaging, storing it in a jewellery organizer or tray is a great alternative.
